What we're looking for

Autonomous Cyber is seeking a first-rate dev to help drive the core development of our flagship product. Our ideal hire is excellent at developing in team environments and has experience building electron apps.

We’re a highly technical team of offensive cyber professionals and multidisciplinary engineers who have built a state-of-the-art offensive cyber platform. The platform has caught traction, is in use with numerous premier offensive cyber organizations, and is delivering customer value today.

We’re looking to hire someone to build out our core platform, unify development efforts across our security engineers, and integrate emerging AI-related features and standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of Autonomous Cyber’s flagship product (electron app)
• Incorporate features from the security engineers into a unified platform for offensive cyber end-users
• Work seamlessly with our existing three-person core development team
• Review other engineers’ code for high quality standards
• Work with users to rapidly scope and ship new platform features
• Integrate new foundational AI-related tech and standards

Qualifications

• Substantial experience shipping code in large existing codebases in a team environment
• Track record of shipping code in an electron app or desktop-based nodeJS framework
• Experience shipping code in typescript
• Experience writing tests for large codebase software
• Familiarity with AI-driven tooling (cursor, copilot chat, etc)
• A demonstrated interest in OffSec and/or defense tech is a plus
• Active or eligibility to obtain a US Government Security Clearance, noting that such clearances are only granted to US citizens
